Today the BBC was feeling extra generous and released a killer trailer for season 9 of Doctor Who (which you have to watch until the very end, old man!) at SDCC and a swoon-worthy Victorian era photo of Dr. Watson and Mr. Holmes for Sherlock. My the show runner gods bless Steven Moffat for this dose of generosity. And let us remember it when he inevitably breaks our hearts during the season.

UPDATE: This teaser video of the Sherlock special just appeared on the BBC One Facebook page. Hopefully “soon-ish” means Christmastime at the very least!
