2019 Reading Challenge: January Recap

My 2019 Black Author Challenge is off to a great start if I do say so myself! In case you don’t have time to go back and read all the reviews, or you’re just too lazy/busy, below is the cliff notes version of everything I’ve read this month and what I rated it. All links go to the books Goodreads page.

Full disclosure: I probably won’t read this many books in the coming months. I got a little overzealous with the library “Hold” system and had to finish most of these before they were due back. But who knows, maybe I’ll read even more next month!

And for those wondering, my star rating basically mimics that of a Google review:
5 Stars – LOVED IT!
4 Stars – Liked it
3 Stars – It’s OK
2 Stars – Meh…
1 Star – Didn’t like it
0 Stars – HATED IT (don’t waste your time!)
