Ever since I moved away for college I’ve spent Thanksgiving with friends and their families. Originally, it was the most practical option; traveling over 700 miles for one meal just seemed silly. Then it grew to having other people over who also weren’t able to go home, whether due to distance or work schedules. “Friendsgiving” is just how I celebrate turkey day! This year there is a very interesting twist to crashing a new family’s meal. My crafty reputation has preceded me and I’ve been asked to make something instead of bringing a dish or a desert. I’ve been scouring the web for ideas and inspiration and there are so many ways to go with it. From gilded gourds to fall foliage I want to make it all! Here is some of the amazing tablescapes and room décor I’ve found so far. Maybe it will inspire you to spruce up your dinner this year. In the meantime, I’ve got work to do!
Gobble gobble, I mean – Allons-y!
