Delta Nixes Check-In Via App for iPhone Users

I love checking in for my flights. It gives me a chance to move my seat if someone picked the one next to me (I’m an aisle girl), or seriously contemplate upgrading if the flight is long and my day has been longer.

Delta Airlines has decided to automatically check-in passengers who use its iPhone app. Passengers will automatically get their boarding pass sent to their phone. This is limited to iPhone users on the latest version. Everyone else, including all Android users, will have to check-in the “old fashioned way” on the app, at the airport kiosk, or at the terminal desk.

This might cause a problem by checking in no-shows which should make those who fly standby very anxious. I personally just want to know if I can stretch my legs under the seat next to mine.
